The Financial Case Manager coordinates the exchange of information with case managers, business departments, and payers. This Case Manager will assist the hospital in obtaining appropriate financial reimbursement and participate in the collection and measurement of processes related to utilization management.
Required:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- LPN or RN degree required.
- Minimum three to five years of recent nursing practice required.
- Two years in Case Management required.
- Current Alabama Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification by the American Heart Association.
